Our Story

During our founders freshman year of college, he looked everywhere for gloves that would last. They all tore within weeks. He realized if he wanted durable gloves, he had to make them himself. And if he was going to make batting gloves, he wanted to make the best in the game.

Problem

Growing up, Wyatt was one of those kids who loved to take things apart. He broke a lot of stuff in the process but he also developed a keen sense of how to fix things. He craved the challenge of starting with a problem and working his way to a solution.

The summer before his freshman year of college, he began to hit a lot. His swing improved, but his hands took a beating. Even with gloves, his hands still callused, blistered and tore open.

Design

Batting gloves that protect your hands and don't fall apart in a week. It sounded simple, but no one on the market had addressed the need yet.

He drew from his own experiences as a hitter to inform the design. He knew how it went wrong - they tore in the palm, they tore in the thumb, there was no shock protection. The challenge? Figuring out how to make it go right.

Testing

After months of work with manufacturers, countless conversations with my engineer, and more swings than I can count, I finally arrived at a product I was proud to put my name on.
